The response to our last catalogue, Sale 331, was very pleasing and my thanks to all who participated. As usual, the fine used collectors were first to react to the fresh items. It is quite uncanny that so many used collectors need exactly the same SG numbers even though those stamps may not be catalogued much higher than those of which we have plenty in the same sets. Of course, once those items have sold out, I have to disappoint collectors that order a little later, which is something I hate doing. However, we do, in time, replace those gaps in our stocklists. Once again there have been some interesting additions to this Sale including a few more Algerian booklets, General Issues, Morocco, Mauritania (including that difficult Postage Due set on our front cover), Guinea, Sudan, Gabon, Lebanon, Ivory Coast plus a sprinkling of covers and varieties here and there. As always, any unsolds from previous sales get a good reduction each time so there will be some bargains around. To follow up on the "bird-feeder" saga, I can report that it is definitely squirrel-proof and, at long last some very tiny birds have discovered how to use it. However I felt sorry for the bewildered squirrels so now I put out a daily small pot of peanuts. Good hunting. Terry Garcia.
